Our Tweed blankets are handwoven on vintage looms in Washington State using natural, un-dyed fibers of blended Mohair and Wool that come from an ecologically run farm in Pennsylvania.

Soft and silky in feel, our blankets’ weave construction is designed to give a textured look that highlights the natural sheen of the mohair yarn. Light, yet warm (Mohair has superior insulating properties). Can be used in all seasons and is great as a bed blanket or coverlet.

Blankets have a hand embroidered raised inlay design at the ends (hover over image to see inlay detail).

Fringe is on ends; approximately 2" long.

As our blanket is handwoven, there may be slight irregularities in the weave. These distinctive variations are part of its specific character and unique beauty.
